Chapter 6 investigates the huge volumes of content that have been created and how they can be digitized. From movies to television programs, millions of hours of content are created every year. Video can be digitized with MPEG-2 to about 2 Mbps or MPEG-4 to less than 1 Mbps.

Audio is also created in huge volumes and can be distributed easily on compact discs. Gaming is another content variety that uses very little storage. Most games still use CDs to deliver games. 650 MB can store alot of patterns and textures that can be used to generate the virtual scenes.
